Glass Fusing Workshop (Intermediate to Advanced) on the 14th June 2025
Glass designer & maker Paul Floyd will lead a morning session on glass fusing. The intermediate/advanced workshops will allow you to explore the techniques of fused glass as a creative medium. Within the workshop you will build on your skills with cutting glass to a pattern and working with coloured sheet glass, frits, pebbles and stringers.
We have a selection of designs available for you to choose, but we also encourage you to bring your own design/pattern or inspiration to these more advanced classes.
You will create an original piece of glasswork and can make either a 20cm square panel, a 15 x 26cm landscape panel that can be formed into a freestanding glass piece or a medium-sized square platter bowl 20cm².
Your glasswork will be fused and formed into a shape and available for collection a week later. Postage can be arranged for your glasswork for an extra charge to cover P&P. Only 4 people per workshop for maximum individual attention.
- Date: Saturday 14th June 2025
- Time: 10am till 1:30pm
