Glass designer & maker Paul Floyd will lead sessions on glass fusing. Teaching the basics of fusing, cutting glass to a pattern and working with coloured sheet glass, frits, pebbles and stringers. We have a selection of patterns available for you to choose from and have a large range of colours for inspiration and design. You will create an original piece of glasswork and make your own fused glass light-catcher.
Your glasswork will be fused and available for collection one week later. Postage can be arranged for your glasswork for an extra charge to cover P&P. Only 4 people per workshop for maximum individual attention.

Glass Fusing Workshop (Intermediate to Advanced) on the 20th June 2026
Glass designer & maker Paul Floyd will lead a morning session on glass fusing. The intermediate/advanced workshops will allow you to explore the techniques of fused glass as a creative medium. Within the workshop you will build on your skills with cutting glass to a pattern and working with coloured sheet glass, frits, pebbles and stringers.
We have a selection of designs available for you to choose, but we also encourage you to bring your own design/pattern or inspiration to these more advanced classes.
You will create an original piece of glasswork. Depending on your level of experience, you can choose to make either a 15cm square or 20cm square panel, which can be kiln-formed into a square platter bowl. Or a 15 x 26cm landscape panel that can be formed into a freestanding fused glass artwork.
Your glasswork will be fused and formed into a shape and available for collection one to two weeks later. Postage can be arranged for your glasswork for an extra charge to cover P&P. Only 4 people per workshop for maximum individual attention.
