Payments & Cancellation Policy: Where possible we ask for the booking form and full payment to be sent in advance of start date. Your reservation will only be confirmed when we receive your booking form and payment.

Due to the small number of students on each course, cancellations up to 4 weeks in advance of start date will receive a full refund. However, cancellations received after 4 weeks in advance will be offered a 75% refund and cancellations within 2 weeks a 50% refund or at our discretion a ‘Gift Voucher’ to attend the next available course. Please see ‘COVID-19’ policy below for exemptions.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Policy: Please do not attend if you have Coronavirus COVID-19. A workshop ‘Date Change’ will be given if anyone cannot attend because they or a family member they live with has tested positive for COVID-19 or believes they may have COVID-19.

Accessibility: The majority of the craft skills on our courses require a certain amount of standing time and as we try to make our courses accessible to all if you have any disabilities, physical limitations or health issues of any kind please discuss with us before your booking.

Participant Information: Aprons will be provided for the courses and please no open-toe shoes.

Ruskin Glass Centre Cafe: Light Lunches, drinks and a wonderful selection of cakes can be obtained from the Ruskin Glass Centre Organic Café. Café opens Monday to Saturday between 9:00am till 4:00pm.

Payment Options: Cheque, Paypal, Bank Transfer & Credit/Debit Card (At Studio Only)

Please send cheque made payable to Paul Floyd – To the Ruskin Glass Centre, The Glasshouse, Wollaston Road, Stourbridge, DY8 4HE. Paypal or Bank Transfer details will be sent to you once we receive your completed ‘Booking Form’. Credit/Debit Card payment must be made at the Studio prior to workshop/class. Thank you.

 

Privacy Policy:

Transparent Glass Studio is the data-controller of your personal information as it relates to the services and goods that we provide. We are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.

How & Why we collect your Personal Data:

When you make an enquiry, ask for a quote, place an order, order a commission, set up a contract or book a course/workshop, Transparent Glass Studio will receive Personal Data from you. This will include names, address, email address and telephone numbers. We will only use these details to process and deliver your order/commission, or deal with any queries you have related to that order and to administrate your booking of a course or workshop.

 

How & Why we may need to Share your Personal Data:

The only circumstances in which we will share your data are in the processing of your order or service, administrating your booking or complying with the law. We will never use or pass on your information to third parties for marketing purposes or any other purpose, other than the circumstances listed below. The circumstances in which we may share your data are:

  • If you choose to pay for an order or service by PayPal. Your name and email address will need to be shared to administrate this payment option. In addition to our Privacy Policy, your Data will be protected by PayPal’s privacy policy.
  • With Delivery Companies to fulfill your order or service.
  • To comply with any Emergency Situation where we may need to provide your name & address or your Emergency Contact Information.
  • To comply with Legal or Tax obligations.
How long will we need to keep your Personal Data:

 

We will only retain your details for as long as reasonably necessary to enable us to process your enquiry, complete an order or service, to administrate your booking or to comply with Legal or Tax obligations. We will securely store any data collected during that period. We will retain Personal Data related to customer queries, orders or services provided and contracts for Six years. After this time we will delete your data from our records.

Your Rights:

You have the right to know what personal data we hold about you, and to ask for that data to be changed or deleted where it is no longer necessary to retain such data. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) if you believe there is a problem with the way we handle your data.
